Voter Pre-Registration

Description of Project:

The Voter Pre-Registration project was created in Fall 2021 to ensure high school students were prepared to vote upon reaching the age of 18.  Through public outreach, school presentations, and advisory announcements, this group has pre-registered over 600 students in New York Citys. We hope to pre-register 1,000 16 and 17 year olds in New York City, with the ultimate goal of encouraging civic engagement by the next generation of voters.
